On January 18, 2024, NITECORE launches the HC65 UHE ultra-high power, triple output metal headlamp. This headlamp has been thoroughly improved in every respect, from the LEDs, optical lenses and battery technology to the appearance. The HC65 UHE breaks new ground in terms of brightness, runtime and beam distance, offering a better user experience with excellent performance.
The ultra-high-efficiency UHE LED debuts in the HC65 UHE, marking the new series of LEDs introduced by NiteLab after the UHi line. UHE, short for Ultra High Efficiency, represents NiteLab's pioneering development of ultra-high efficiency LEDs specifically designed for high-performance equipment such as headlights. Delivers increased performance per watt, offering a brighter, more energy-efficient and long-lasting experience.
The HC65 UHE is equipped with 8-core UHE LED optics and 8-core matrix UHE optical system, and its 8-core architecture optimizes both performance and power consumption. Advanced matrix optics achieve over 94% light transmission efficiency and a reflective area of 509 mm², which greatly minimizes projection light loss and improves reflection efficiency, thereby effectively increasing the beam distance. Offering a peak output of 2,000 lumens and a beam distance of 222 meters, it meets the high demands placed on floodlights in a variety of environments.
Unlike the single-core point light source in the HC65 V2, the HC65 UHE features a 42 mm wide surface light source, approximately 2.5 times wider than its predecessor. This width, closer to the distance between the pupils of the human eye, improves the perception of illuminated objects, making them appear more three-dimensional and natural, with clearer and more transparent contours, thus improving safety in the outdoor environment.
An industry first, this professional headlamp comes standard with a high-performance 4000 mAh 18650 Lithium-ion battery (NL1840HP), providing approximately 17.6% more capacity than typical 3400 mAh Lithium-ion batteries. At 400 lumens (MID), it can glow for up to 14 hours, meeting your all-night lighting needs.
The durable external aesthetics of the reflector are made entirely of metal. Its solid construction and gently beveled edges evoke the durability of off-road vehicles. In addition to its external appearance, the HC65 UHE features IP68 dust and water resistance, internal waterproof interfaces (enabling waterproof charging), anti-collision shield and a 2-meter drop-resistant design, ruggedly equipped to withstand dust, water and unexpected drops in outdoor settings .
Additionally, the HC65 UHE design, placed almost at the center of gravity, significantly reduces the pressure on the forehead. It is equipped with a wide, comfortable headband and a durable carrying case.
