Construction : It has a plastic base to which metal plates coated with single-crystalline diamonds are glued on both sides. The unique sharpening surface with oval holes collects and retains metal particles generated during sharpening, which keeps the surface of the sharpener clean. Each side has a different grit: 600 for sharpening blunt edges and 1000 for final grinding or sharpening slightly blunt edges.

How to use : Place the sharpener on a flat, horizontal surface. Depending on how dull the blade is, use one or both sides of the stone. Page 600 for sharpening really dull knives or sharpening ceramic knives. Page 1000 is used for smoothing the knife surface and sharpening it frequently.
