The second and improved version of the Work Sharp Knife and Tool Sharpener was created in cooperation with Ken Onion. This is the successor of the previously known model (09DX003). Compared to its predecessor, it offers more options and even more flexibility. On the other hand, its advancement means that the user is expected to "get familiar" with the subject of knife sharpening. For beginners, the entry-level model will be the perfect solution - the advanced have just found their perfect gear.
The Ken Onion edition differs from the base model:
- variable belt speed in the range from 1200 to 2800
- smoothly adjustable sharpening angle in the range of 15-30 degrees
- wider abrasive belts (3/4 "x 12"), with greater variation in sharpening gradations
- new optional sharpening guide
- a wider selection of additional accessories for sharpening various tools
The above-mentioned changes allow for more sharpening options - smoothly adjustable angles, a tilting sharpening head and adjustable speed put this model higher than the standard one.
