NITECORE introduces the all-new UMS4, which is a smart, 4-slot, QC-capable charger with a total maximum output of 4000mA and a maximum output of 3000mA per slot, allowing you to charge 4 batteries simultaneously and control each slot independently. It only takes 55 minutes to charge 80% of a 3500mAh battery.
The LCD screen can display real-time information of the battery status by "good" or "poor", internal resistance, charging current, battery voltage, charged volume and charging time. It can enable automatic detection of the battery level and automatic selection of the appropriate voltage and charging mode, and automatic selection between 3 charging modes (CC, CV and -dV/dt). Charging parameters can be set manually to meet different charging needs.
The specially designed Micro USB port is compatible with various mobile power sources, solar panels and USB adapters to provide unlimited power supply.
The UMS4 includes an optimized IMR battery charging program that is able to monitor the entire charging process, ensuring that the cut-off voltage is always within safe limits, extending the life of the batteries. The UMS4 is compatible with 3.6V/3.7V Li-ion batteries, 3.8V Li-ion batteries, 1.2V Ni-MH/Ni-Cd batteries and 3.2V LiFePO4 batteries.
Multiple safeguards ensure a safe charging process, including automatic detection of battery internal resistance, short circuit and reverse polarity protection, over-charge protection, activation of over-discharged Li-ion battery and recovery of over-discharged IMR battery. In addition to being made of durable and fireproof PC materials, the built-in temperature control system is designed to prevent overheating and ensure stable charging. If there is no action on the buttons or batteries for 3 minutes, the screen will automatically dim to save power.
