NITECORE today introduced the HC60 UHE, a powerful rechargeable headlamp that is ideal for outdoor use.
The HC60 UHE features a unique arrangement of four single-core UHE LEDs and one dual-core UHE LED to form a six-core matrix lighting system. With a multi-faceted optical lens system, it delivers a maximum output of 1600 lumens and can illuminate an area up to 157 meters away.
The HC60 UHE achieves over 94% light transmission thanks to its large 411mm² reflective surface area, which significantly reduces light loss while increasing reflectivity, thereby increasing the range and brightness of the headlamp.
The HC60 UHE weighs just 140g (4.94oz). Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and special PC material, it offers excellent impact resistance and performs well in low temperatures. And the military-grade HA III finish with hard anodizing provides efficient heat dissipation and exceptional durability. The included NITECORE NL1840 (4000mAh) lithium-ion battery provides up to 200 hours of continuous use. The USB-C charging port is thoughtfully designed to avoid accidental impacts and wear.
HC60 UHE features a dual-light source design, equipped with a main white light (color temperature: 6000K) and a secondary red light. To adapt to different night activities, it offers five brightness levels and three special modes. The two-button interface includes a power button and a MODE button. Simply long press the power button for one second to turn on the main white light, and short press any button to turn it off. For convenience, power indicators are designed on the front of the headlamp to show the remaining battery life. These indicators can be quickly activated by a short press of the MODE button, ensuring that you are always informed about the power status.
To prevent accidental activation, the HC60 UHE offers a transport guarantee by adjusting the headlamp upwards to avoid accidental activation during carrying or transport. In addition, the lock mode prevents unintended use by simultaneously pressing all buttons for about 2 seconds when the headlamp is turned off.
With a design close to the center of gravity, the weight of the headlamp is more evenly distributed near the head, greatly reducing the pressure on the forehead. And the mount perfectly fits the natural curve of the head, providing users with a comfortable wear. The headlamp is also detachable, allowing for quick removal and replacement to fit a variety of headlamp mounts, including the HLB40.
The HC60 UHE headband is equipped with reflective markings to improve night-time visibility and pedestrian and vehicle safety. With an IP68 rating and 2-meter drop protection, it is waterproof, dustproof and highly impact resistant.
