Launched in 2023, the EDC27 caused a stir in the industry with its cutting-edge, ultra-slim design, starting a new trend in slim, powerful flashlights. The latest EDC27 UHi flashlight builds on that success with high-precision UHi LEDs that deliver even brighter and farther lighting, pushing the boundaries of what slim, powerful flashlights can achieve.
The EDC27 UHi flashlight is equipped with two high-precision UHi 20 LEDs, perfectly matched with a round, orange peel metal reflector to provide exceptional brightness and long-range illumination. With a maximum output of 3100 lumens and a range of 305 meters, the flashlight's range has been increased by approximately 38.6% compared to the previous generation, making it the best choice for ultra-slim flashlights.
Weighing just 122g (4.30oz), the EDC27 UHi features a durable stainless steel housing that withstands high pressure and resists bending. The surface is coated with a titanium PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating for excellent durability and resistance to scratches and fingerprints. Structurally, the stainless steel front and rear housings are bonded to a strong carbon fiber composite frame, secured with six sets of connecting screws to achieve a lightweight yet rigid structure that resists compression, twisting and bending.
Specifically designed for tactical applications, the two tail buttons are located at different heights for easy identification and intuitive operation to select the desired brightness level. The MODE button provides quick access to STROBE READY™ (3100 lumens) / TURBO (3100 lumens) for quick tactical responses.
The EDC27 UHi includes an energy-saving OLED display that shows lumens, battery voltage, remaining runtime and more. A new remaining power display has been added to the OLED display, utilizing a dynamic progress bar that increases or decreases to show real-time availability and recovery times for TURBO and STROBE.
EDC27 UHi now has a level setting function, allowing users to set their preferred brightness level before turning on the light. This meets the needs of advanced tactical operations, providing precise lighting in the dark. In everyday use, selecting the right brightness can prevent discomfort caused by too bright light.
In addition, the EDC27 UHi is powered by a built-in 1700mAh lithium-ion battery that offers up to 55 hours of operation. The device is also equipped with a sensor protection function, has IP54 dust and water resistance, and can withstand drops from a height of up to 1 meter.
