As one of four blacksmiths, the dwarf Dvalin created the Brisingamen necklace for Freya, the Germanic goddess of love. In Nordic mythology, this unique necklace is associated with magic, love, but also sadness and suffering. So Freya's tears in heaven always promised rich fruits on earth. However, it was the anger of Odin, the father of the gods, that often caused the goddess of love to start wars in the human world. Dirk Hofmeister from Midgard's Knives was inspired by the Nordic art of forging and created a pocket knife version of the popular Little Dvalin. The powerful Dvalin Folder Drop impresses with its compact size and features a ball drop-point blade made of D2 with a raw stonewash finish and a distinct hollow groove on both sides that serves as a nail notch for opening the folding knife. The studs on the spine of the blade provide a secure thumb rest during difficult cutting tasks. Despite the wrath of the gods, the well-profiled and partially serrated handle made of G10 always fits securely in the hand. The stainless steel framelock is hidden at the back of the handle and reliably secures the blade. Alternative grip scales in a wide range of shapes, colors and materials can be easily printed yourself using a commercially available 3D printer. The retractable clip (r) takes on the texture of the handle, and the lanyard hole increases carrying comfort. A high-quality nylon storage case is included.
