Instructions for use:
Place the sharpener on a flat surface. Use one or two levels of sharpening, depending on how blunt the knife is.
Level 1 - Use this level only if the knife is really dull, or if you want to sharpen a ceramic knife. To sharpen the knife, slide it (applying light pressure) several times, first through one slot, then through the other.
Stage 2 - This stage is used to smooth the surface of the knife. It can often be used to sharpen your knife. To smooth the knife - gently move the blade several times, first through one slot, then through the other.
