As a self-professed fan of Filipino martial arts, it made sense for Italian knife designer Alessandra De Santis of Hydra Design to design a Karambit knife for the Boker Plus. The sickle-shaped knives originated in Southeast Asia and were most commonly used for harvesting rice. The Boker Plus HEL Karambit, on the other hand, presents itself in a tactical version. The black-coated Hawkbill blade made of 154 CM steel easily slices through cardboard and rope, while the black G10 handle and solid linerlock provide the necessary security during work. Lightweight and high performance are the basis for a pocket knife named after the Norse goddess of the underworld. As an alternative to the silky smooth opening of a flipper, the knife offers a detachable thumb stud on the back of the blade, the shape of which also serves as a wave opener. The characteristic angular elements of Alessandra De Santis’ design can be found in the striking G10 ring at the end of the handle. Replaceable wire clip (tip-up) allows flexible carrying of the knife. Supplied with a high-quality nylon case.
