The Boker Plus CID cal.45 is a tactical pen that sets new standards in design and technology. Rainer Wenning, who has already developed the Böker Plus SO4PRO-K pocket sticks, and knife maker Thomas Braunagel (BFK) designed them. The use of the bayonet mechanism is revolutionary. From a purely functional point of view, the bayonet mechanism significantly increases the comfort of use, as you do not have to unscrew the cap or the lead for writing.
The bayonet lock can be operated just as quickly as the classic button and guarantees an absolutely secure grip when used as a tactical pen, as the thumb can rest securely on the pen head. At least as important in civilian use is to guarantee the satisfaction of the male play instinct through the use of a high-quality bayonet lock. Now you can counter the annoying click of nervous plastic pen users with the rich sound of the all metal bayonet mount.
Another sensational specification is Clip-Integrated-Design (CID). The advantage of this solution is easy storage in a pocket without the need to use a protruding clip, which could be unpleasantly pressed into the hand with a firm grip. The clip is dimensioned to provide comfortable resistance when pulling on the seams of a regular jeans pocket or functional trousers, for example. The body of the Tactical Pen CID inch 45 is CNC milled from brass and combines with its discreet design high-quality elegance and ergonomics. Brass as a material for tactical pens has its own charm. Of course, the golden color is striking, but the brass pen also has a completely different look and feel to titanium or aluminum due to the much greater weight of the material. And the patina that brass inevitably acquires in daily use gives the pen an unusual, used or vintage look.
This version with revised mechanics is compatible with the Lamy M-22 cartridge, which can be easily purchased at any stationery store.
