Alfa AWUS036AXM USB Wi-Fi Adapter

The AWUS036AXM supports speeds of up to 3000Mbps (2.4GHz 600Mbps, 5GHz 1200Mbps and 6GHz 1200Mbps) when used with a compatible WiFi 6E router (there are different models of WiFi 6E routers, 800 -1200Mbps will be a more common speed on most routers).

The network card has a dual antenna connector (2x RP-SMA), so you can swap the antennas for higher gain ones to increase the connection distance. We recommend doing this if you want the best range :).

The AWUS036AXM also supports the latest Bluetooth v5.2, which provides higher quality audio over Bluetooth for headphones or speakers.

Does AWUS036AXM work on Kali Linux?

Yes. The AWUS036AXM WiFi USB Adapter works on Linux. On the Raspberry Pi system, you don't need to install drivers because the chipset for this card is the MediaTek MT7921AUN, whose drivers are already in the system kernel. On Kali Linux, you need to install drivers , but the whole process is the same as for the AWUS036AXML card. This process can be seen in the video . Monitor mode and packet injection work.

Does the AWUS036AXM WiFi USB Adapter work on Windows?

Yes, but only in Windows 10 and Windows 11, you also need to install drivers. Windows 10 is not compatible with WiFi 6e, but AXM will still work on 2.4 and 5 GHz (also with DFS channels).
