The Screen Crab by Hak5 is a man-in-the-middle hidden video implant.
This hidden built-in screen grabber sits between your HDMI devices such as PC and monitor or console and TV to silently capture screenshots. Perfect for admins, pentesters and anyone who wants to record what's on the screen.
Wi-Fi allows you to stream screenshots via Hak5 Cloud C2.
SIMPLE SETUP
Screen Crab is already set up to save screenshots to the MicroSD card right out of the box. It will also automatically generate a config.txt file with default settings. Changing these obvious settings is just a matter of editing a text file. What could be easier?
The capture mode can be set to image or video, the capture interval can be set in seconds, and the storage options can be set to stop when the MicroSD card is full or continuous capture - deleting the oldest files to make room for the newest. In addition, the LED and button can be turned off, and Wi-Fi can be configured with simple parameters.
TRANSMISSION ON THE INTERNET
Watch Screen Crab screenshots live from anywhere by connecting it to Wi-Fi and Cloud C². The self-service command and control server allows remote management of all Hak5 equipment. Change settings, download captured images and watch live in your web browser.
Setup is easy. Add the WiFi settings to the config.txt file on the MicroSD card and copy the Cloud C² device file.
