The radio operates in digital DMR (Tier I and II) and analog FM modes, covering the 2 m (144–146 MHz) and 70 cm (430–440 MHz) amateur bands. After unlocking, the range expands to 136–174 MHz (VHF) and 400–470 MHz (UHF). An additional advantage is the reception of the AIRBAND aviation band in the 108–136 MHz range (AM, receive only), which allows monitoring of aviation communication.
The radio supports ARC4 encryption, compatible with Motorola devices, allowing it to be integrated into existing DMR infrastructure without compatibility issues.
