Waterproof Baofeng BF-A58 Two-Way Radio

Baofeng BF-A58 is a dual-band two-way radio (dual-bander) with 5 watts of power, a dual display, a DTMF keypad and a Dual Watch function.

The Baofeng BF-A58 radio has an IP67 ingress protection rating, providing dust-tight protection and protection against the effects of short-term immersion in water (30 min at a depth of 0.15 m above the top of the housing, or 1 m above the bottom for housings lower than 0.85 m).

The dual-bander features a dual display, a 41-position menu, Dual Watch, an LED flashlight and many other functions.

The built-in FM radio lets you listen to your favourite station during breaks in conversation, automatically switching to the selected channel when a signal is received from another station.

The housing of the Baofeng BF-A58 radio is very durable and works great on construction sites, in security companies, at events, in factories, etc. Good build quality, water resistance and reliability are certainly the strengths of this model.

The radio has a "dual receiver - dual watch", meaning the ability to monitor two channels at the same time!

Both active channels are shown on the display, so you can keep one important channel under constant monitoring and the second for communication between units, etc. The radio of course receives the "active" channel first and listens to it until the transmission ends (receiving two conversations at once would obviously make no sense, as everything would merge into one noise).

The radio is UNLOCKED - it allows operation (reception and transmission) across the FULL VHF 136-174MHz and UHF 400-520MHz range. Questions of legal compliance for transmitting are left to the buyer - however the radio is technically capable of operating on PMR, the amateur band, Walkie Talkie, Police, Fire, Ambulance, railway, TAXI, security, all other uniformed services, municipal, private companies and many others using this frequency range!!!
