The BF-H6 model from the Baofeng line with a power of 10W is the latest portable radio proposal for the 2022 market, being a continuation of the well-known UV-5R model. Its powerful power of 10 watts qualifies it as one of the most effective Walkie-talkie communication devices, offering not only unrivaled range, but also crystal clear transmission, even over large areas. In an open area, it can provide communication over many kilometers, and if both units are properly placed, this distance can increase significantly!

The BF line is the flagship series of Baofeng products. BF-H6 enables communication in two wave bands: VHF 136-174 MHz and UHF 400-520 MHz, known as Dual Band. Thanks to access to a wide range of frequencies, this model is able to operate in the 2 m and 70 cm amateur bands, but also in the bands used by maritime services, the Fire Department, the Ambulance Service and TAXI. While it is extremely versatile, it is worth remembering the legal requirements associated with certain bands. Additionally, the Dual Watch function allows you to monitor two channels simultaneously and listen to FM radio in the 65-108 MHz range.

The power supply is provided by a 2200 mAh battery, which allows the device to operate for almost two days in standby mode.

Baofeng BF-H6 is equipped with standard connectors: SMA-F for connecting the antenna and a two-pin Kenwood type for the microphone and headphones. Compatibility with many add-ons is a big advantage.

When it comes to configuration, you can adjust the walkie-talkie settings both manually using the built-in keyboard or using your computer. It is worth adding that this model works with a renowned shortwave radio application called Chirp.
