    Description

The Wemos D1 mini Pro is an ESP8266 board with 16 MB Flash and an external antenna connector. The extra storage suits projects with larger firmware or files stored on the device. This version has Micro USB and a CP2104 USB-UART converter.

    WiFi and antenna placement

Built-in WiFi operates on 2.4 GHz. To connect an external antenna, add a suitable u.FL / RP-SMA cable and antenna; both are separate accessories. Plan the antenna position while designing your enclosure.

    Specifications

    • ESP8266, 80/160 MHz clock and 16 MB Flash.
    • Micro USB programming with CP2104 converter.
    • 11 digital I/O pins and one analogue input.
    • 3.3 V logic level and Reset button.
    • 34.2 × 25.6 mm, approximately 2.5 g.

Use Arduino or suitable MicroPython and NodeMCU firmware. Check signal voltages and pin functions before connecting other modules.

    What's included?

The D1 mini Pro board and two of each header type: male, short female and long female. This listing describes the CP2104 / Micro USB version. If 4 MB Flash and a PCB antenna meet your needs, compare the D1 mini V2 with CH340.
