Glytch Mesh Mod adds low-power LoRa mesh communication to the WiFi Pineapple Pager. The module uses an SX1262 radio with an integrated antenna and operates in the 868/900 MHz band. After installing the official payload, the Pager can operate as a Meshtastic node and communicate with compatible devices without conventional Wi-Fi infrastructure.
Meshtastic and LoRa mesh communication
- SX1262 LoRa radio,
- 868/900 MHz band and integrated antenna,
- support for the MeshtasticD service on WiFi Pineapple Pager,
- decentralized messaging between compatible nodes,
- compact 3D-printed enclosure and hand assembly.
This is a LoRa/Meshtastic module - it is not a Wi-Fi range extender or a home Wi-Fi mesh system.
Configuration on WiFi Pineapple Pager
- Update the Pager, connect it to the internet and insert the Mesh Mod into the USB port.
- Download and run the official Glytch installation payload. The process takes about 5 minutes and must not be interrupted.
- After MeshtasticD starts, connect the Meshtastic app to the Pager's IP address.
- Set a username and region that comply with local regulations. For Poland and the EU, select the EU 868 profile.
Range depends on terrain, buildings, antenna orientation and the activity of other nodes. Official Glytch Mesh Mod guide.
