Description
The Maltronics WiFi Tester is a compact device for learning about 2.4 GHz WiFi and testing client behaviour in a prepared lab network. Control it through a browser over WiFi. Its metal case and USB power make it easy to move between test stations.
Networks and 802.11 management frames
The device scans for networks and clients and supports controlled management-frame tests. Beacon and probe functions help examine how network names are advertised and how clients look for access points. The network-name list for beacon tests is configurable. A lab setup lets you compare how your own devices respond to different communication scenarios.
